Making your own apple pie recipe is much easier than you think! A classic apple pie takes a shortcut with easy Trader Joe's pie crust. This pie is absolutely amazing!!!
Ingredients:
6-8 apples peeled, sliced apples (I used Fuji)
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
Dash of ground nutmeg
1 tbsp butter
Crumble:
1 stick soft butter
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 pie crust (I bought at Trader Joe's)
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Peel and slice apples into med pieces.
Melt butter add apples, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, vanilla and nutmeg.
Cook for a few min.
Add apples into prepared pie crust.
To make crumbs mix butter, sugar and four with the fork.
Put it on the top of pie.
Bake for 40-45 min on 375F. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
