Hi everyone , first I gotta say that I love drinking soy milk so much. I don't know actually when was my first time that I drank soy milk but I always had it as my breakfast, sometimes as my dinner too. It is easy to find a homemade one in Bangkok. But since I moved to Sweden I gotta buy soy milk in supermarket instead and the taste cannot compare with the homemade one.
I always make this recipe as a dessert for my tv-time, it is very easy to make. The pudding is so soft and it is good with orange sauce or other berry sauces. So let's see how to make this recipe
Ingredients : for 5 small cups
Soy milk pudding
1. 125 mL soya milk
2. 50 mL milk
3. 1 1/2 teaspoon ( 3 sheets) gelatin
4. 2 tablespoons sugar
1. Orange juice ( you can also use juice from the concentrate, just make sure that it tastes sour enough) 50 mL
2. Water 100 mL
3. Sugar 50 mL
4. 1 tablespoon corn starch
Instructions
1. For a pudding, mix the soy milk, gelatin and sugar together in a small saucepan. Then heat the mixture up by a low heat. Keep stirring until gelatin and sugar are dissolved. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add milk. Stir it well then pour the pudding mixture into serving cups ( around 2/3 of the cup). Let the pudding cool down in a refridgerator for 1 hour.
2. For orange sauce, mix all ingredients together in a small saucepan. Then bring it on the stove and turn on a low heat. Keep stirring until the mixture get thicker. Pour the orange sauce on top of pudding. Let the topping sets which is around 3-4 hours in refridgerator. And now it's done!
Ps. If you want to make some kinds of berry sauce. Make a berry pureƩ first , then use the pureƩ instead of orange juice. I used to make strawberry, raspberry and blackberry sauces. They are also very yummy.
As you can see , it's easy as a pie. No, we should have called it's easy as a pudding instead hehe. So I hope you really enjoy reading this and just let me know if you like it or not when you make this recipe at home.
